Are carbohydrates making you fat? Do all carbs make you fat?
The answer is NO!
You need carbohydrates to make your body work properly. If you do not eat carbs you’ll have no energy and your brain will stop working.
So, what are carbohydrates?
Carbs can be things like bread, pasta and potatoes, but also fruits and veggies.
When you eat carbs your body breaks them and produces glucose that will provide your body with the energy it needs to work properly.
Your body will also store these carbs as energy in your liver and your muscles. So, if you exercise you really need to eat carbohydrates.

The problem is that a lot of people are eating more carbs than they should. Especially in the form of processed foods, like pasta and all different breads.
If your body don’t use all the glucose, it will store it as fat!
So, what should you do?
You need to eat enough carbohydrates as energy to function, but you don’t want to eat too many carbs so that you gain weight!
#1 Only eat processed carbs after activity and after workout;
#2 Stick to carbohydrates like sweet potatoes, brown rice and grains;
#3 All other carbs, like fruits and veggies, you can have them in every meal.
